City University of Seattle (CityU) offers one of the oldest and most prestigious MBA programs in Romania, being ranked as one of the top MBAs in the surveys conducted by the Ziarul Financiar. The MBA Diploma is granted by CityU of Seattle and it bears the Washington State apostille. The Alumni Association consists of more than 270 professionals acting as middle and top managers both in the financial services industry and in the corporate sector. Globaltraining is the official partner of City University of Seattle in Romania.

At Globaltraining/CityU of Seattle the MBA lecturers are American and Romanian professors and highly specialised professionals, trained in the USA, assuring high standards of teaching. The teaching methods are focused on the case studies. The MBA Programme aims to train experienced managers, to help them in making decisions and providing them with the necessary economic concepts in order to face the specific challenges of the economic globalization context.

The applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet the English proficiency requirements of the University: pass the Accuplacer test (Toefl equivalent – minimum score 565). The Accuplacer is an Internet-based test and it is generated online at our premises, located in Grozavesti area, Economu Cezarescu Street, no. 31A, district 6, Bucharest. The test has two parts: Reading Comprehension and WritePlacer. The students may schedule an appointment to take the Accuplacer test, after they fill in the MBA application form.

Each MBA course lasts one month. In order to pass a course, students must prepare case studies, research papers, critical analysis, according to the syllabus requirements, they must attend workshops and pass the final exams.

Two MBA series are launched in March and November.

Please note

Students should attend at least 50% of the workshop hours (one week/month, from Monday to Friday: 18,00 – 21,00 and Saturday: 9,00 – 14,00).

The minimum grade in order to pass a course is 1.6 (69.99 – 68.75). The GPA must be above 3.0 (86.25 – 87.49) in order to receive the MBA Diploma (grading system: 0.0 – 4.0).
