Dr. Ghassan Karame
Lecturer - Digital Currency
Dr. Ghassan Karame holds a PhD in Computer Science, System Security from ETH Zurich, an MSc from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
Dr. Karame has worked at NEC Research Laboratories in Germany for over five years and is currently Manager and Chief of Security R&D. He has also spend a number of years as a cryptography researcher.
Ghassan is the lead instructor on the module, Cryptographic Systems Security, of the University of Nicosia’s MSc in Digital Currency. Mark also lectures as part of Globaltraining’s Blockchain Training Series.
